Milan Schildknegt

My name is Milan. As a 21 year old audiovisual media student and freelance videographer, I can be found every day exactly where I love to be most: behind the camera. What began as a general interest in video has sharpened into a deep focus on the art of filming and visual storytelling.

While my school background gives me a solid understanding of the entire production pipeline meaning I know exactly what an editor needs my true passion lies in the shoot itself. Finding the right framing, playing with light and movement, and capturing the perfect atmosphere on set: that is where I channel all my creative energy. In my freelance work, I help a diverse range of clients translate their ideas through the lens into visually powerful imagery.

My goal for the future is to specialize further and become a cinematographer (Director of Photography). I am incredibly eager to learn and am only satisfied when the image captured in-camera already conveys the exact right emotion. I love experimenting with new camera techniques and am always open to inspiring collaborations where my camera work can help create the perfect shot.
